What
is experiential learning?
Simply
put, experiential learning is learning through direct experience. We feel it’s
the best way to learn, and we designed our Program around it. So when you
attend classes at P.I.T., get ready for
more than just textbooks. Our
instructors use a variety of teaching tools such as:
- Real-world
interaction with local businesses. You don’t just learn about business,
you understand what it’s like to work with a business.
- Business
plan development and presentations to local investors.
- Project
based competitions among students to win contracts from local businesses.
What
kind of career will I have?
P.I.T.
has modeled our Business Administration Program based upon the needs of
businesses. It is also designed to make it highly transferable because your Associate
Degree is equal to the first two years of a four year business program.
Students who hold a degree in Business Administration can work in any area of
business, including:
- Human
Resources
- Marketing
- Advertising
- Finance
- Accounting
- Economics
