ITD211 - Social Media: Contemporary Applications
This course examines the rise of social media and how it has influenced modern business practices. The second part of the class will investigate the different social media platforms, the pros and cons of each, and the psychology behind their use. Lastly, students will learn the essential elements of a PR/Social Media campaign as well as how to effectively measure, monitor and audit the insights provided by these social media platforms. The successful completion of this course will meet a 3-credit requirement for Humanities and Social Science.
