PTA101 - Introduction to Physical Therapy
This course provides an introduction to the physical therapy profession, the American Physical Therapy Association, and the role of the physical therapist assistant in a health care environment. Students are provided with an overview of the current health care system, including third party payment systems, documentation and communication skills, health literacy, and the systematic review of professional literature.
