Transfer Credit

This refers to the transfer of credits from another college to Pennsylvania Institute of Technology. Students need to provide official transcripts for all college classes successfully completed with a C grade or better. The transcripts are sent directly to the Office of Admissions. An Assistant Dean of Academic Affairs will evaluate transfer credit.

Academic Credit for Military Service

The Pennsylvania Institute of Technology is a “military friendly” college with many of the faculty and staff actually military veterans. P.I.T. is approved to grant college credits for military service, training and experience. Just provide a P.I.T. admissions counselor with information about your military experience and P.I.T. does the rest! P.I.T. compares your Military Occupation Specialty (MOS) and training with degree requirements.
