CSC120 - Network Fundamentals
This course introduces the architecture, structure, functions, components, and models of computer networks. It uses the OSI and TCP-IP layered models to examine the nature and roles of protocols and services at all layers of a network. Students learn the principles and structures of IP addressing and the fundamentals of Ethernet and various media, providing a foundation for more advanced network courses. This is the first of four courses preparing students for the Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA®) examination.
