EGR126 - Architectural Graphic Design II
In this course, students will gain an understanding of how renewable resources are used in the architectural design of an energy efficient residential home. They will also demonstrate an understanding for designing various solar-energy systems that are used in energy conservation; demonstrate a proficient understanding of how renewable resources can be used by designing and drafting various energy efficient heating, cooling and ventilation systems; demonstrate an understanding of major insulation standards that are used in energy efficient facilities by drafting various full-section elevation building plans. Additionally, students will design and draft architectural floor and elevation plans for an earth sheltered home.
