HCM212 - Classification and Coding Systems
This course explores the medical coding and classification systems including ICD-10-CM/PCS. In addition, students will gain an understanding of important medical terms and the classification of diseases. Upon successfully completing this course, students will be able to identify, comprehend and use medical codes applicable to most health care organizations including Medicare and governmental agencies.
