NUR102 - Nursing Practice I

This course expands on content presented in NUR105 related to the cognitive, technical, interpersonal, and communication skills needed to provide nursing care using the nursing process for clients with disorders of body systems not previously covered. Included is drug therapy for specific disorders and diseases. Emphasis is placed on the unique health issues and problems of geriatric clients. Clinical experiences to complement theory including the safe administration of medications are scheduled in long–term care, acute care, and other health care settings.
