PTA225 - Orthopedic and Neurological Rehabilitations

This course is a study of orthopedic conditions and their underlying pathology and introduces developmental milestones for normal human development across the lifespan. Topics include genetic, heredity, congenital and acquired disorders and their impact on human motor development. This course also studies the neurological system with a series of neuromotor and neurologic examination basics for interventions that affect the musculoskeletal system. Movement disorders and the basic testing procedures are presented both in a lab and didactic environment.
