PTA249 - PTA Seminar
This course incorporates an overview of the organization and administration of a physical therapy service and identifies the role of the assistant in various aspects of physical therapy practice. It also provides a forum for student discussion and exchange of clinical experiences and student presentations of case studies and physical therapy topics which include patients and staff scheduling; professional growth and development; quality assurance concepts; and negotiation skills for employment opportunities. Students will perform a capstone practical examination (OSCE- Objective Structured Clinical Examination) that will include skills the students have learned throughout the program.
