P.I.T. Scholarship Information

Pennsylvania Institute of Technology is committed to the success of our students. We know how difficult it is for students to fund their education while working and maintaining their personal lives. The scholarships, grants, and loans shown below are available for those in need of funding. This is just part of the way we can help students achieve their goals.

All “NEW” Full Time students enrolled in Associate Degree who have never attended P.I.T. in the past, are eligible to take the Accuplacer test “ONE” time only to see if they qualify for the scholarship.

If the Accuplacer was taken in the past, those scores would be used to see if a candidate is eligible for the scholarship. The Accuplacer must be taken at P.I.T. in order to be eligible; the scores will be calculated and audited by the College Board to determine
Education First eligibility.

Candidates for the Education First Scholarship must achieve threshold Accuplacer scores or greater on all three dimensions of essential academic skills:

Arithmetic Score – 80 or greater

Reading Comprehension – 90 or greater

Sentence Structure – 90 or greater

New, full-time students who have achieved or surpassed scores required on all three Accuplacer dimensions of essential academic skills will receive an Education First Scholarship “up to” but not to exceed $1,000 for the first semester, only after PHEAA and PELL grants have been awarded, in order to meet unfulfilled financial needs.

No student stipends or refunds will be released directly to students from funds awarded through a Presidential Scholarship.
