NEW PRE-NURSING PATHWAYS

ALLIED HEALTH — PRE-NURSING TO CMA PATHWAY

This academic pathway is designed for Allied Health — Pre-Nursing students who do not enter the Practical Nursing program and instead pursue the Allied Health — Clinical Medical Assistant (AH-CMA) or Clinical Medical Assistant (CMA) program. Students who have successfully completed AHT105 and BIO120 with a grade of C or higher are eligible to substitute these courses for CMA153. Additionally, eligible students will receive a 50% tuition discount on their CMA courses.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

  • Successfully completed AHT105 and BIO120 within the last five years
  • Earned a grade of C or higher in both AHT105 and BIO120
  • Be in Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) standing
  • Be enrolled in either the Allied Health — Clinical Medical Assistant (AH-CMA) or Clinical Medical Assistant (CMA) program
  • The tuition discount applies only to CMA courses and does not apply to Allied Health courses
